Monastic Brotherhood St. John the Ladder

In October 2012, we were blessed by the Holy Synod of ROCOR and under our bishop, Archbishop Peter, to establish a monastic brotherhood named after Saint John of the Ladder.

We are using the existing rectory attached to the house as our living quarters.

If you want to visit us please contact us at

At this time, we are incredibly small, so if you plan on visiting, please be sure to contact us in advance. We do not have a guesthouse currently, so we can only house men in one of the few extra bedrooms we have.

The beginning of a monastic brotherhood is especially blessed with hard work and tribulations. While the goal is that the brotherhood will be able to sustain itself by suitable obediences, it is necessary especially in the early stages to rely on outside help.

If you are able to help us with your gracious donation please do so by sending it to our address or by paypal.
